As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul, and in alignment with its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals\u2014particularly Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals<\/em>\u2014and within the framework of strengthening academic collaboration among universities and promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge among faculty members and researchers in various engineering fields, Professor Dr. Ahmed Nasr Bahjat participated as Chair of the Examination Committee for a technical master\u2019s thesis in Electrical Power Engineering, entitled \u201cSpeed and Torque Control of DC Motor Using Sinusoidal PWM Rectifier\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The thesis, submitted by the researcher Uday Shihab Ahmed Khalil<\/em>, addressed the design and implementation of an advanced control system based on a three-phase rectifier utilizing SPWM within the framework of Voltage Oriented Control (VOC), incorporating an intelligent Fuzzy-PID controller to enhance precision and improve the system\u2019s dynamic performance.<\/p>\n
