As part of the National Strategy for Education and Training, College of Engineering \/ Department of Civil Engineering, organized a training course entitled \u201cPromoting a Culture of Participation in Decision-Making\u201d<\/em> on Sunday, September 14, 2025. The course will run for five days, concluding on September 18, 2025, and is directed toward faculty members and administrative staff of College of Engineering.<\/p>\n

The course aimed to introduce methods and approaches of participation in the decision-making process, with the goal of improving the quality of decisions, increasing commitment to their implementation, and developing the skills and capacities of the participants.<\/p>\n

The course was supervised and delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Jasim Ali Abdullah (Course Supervisor) and Lecturer Assistant Rakan Farouq Qasim.<\/p>\n

The curriculum included a general introduction to decisions and their types, methods of decision-making, an overview of engineering decisions, higher education institutions, and finally, the culture of participation in decision-making.<\/p>\n
