As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul, and in line with its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education<\/strong>, Department of Mechanical Engineering<\/strong>, in cooperation with the Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit<\/strong>, organized a scientific workshop for the department\u2019s students entitled \u201cUsing SolidWorks Software to Develop Mechanical Engineering Skills\u201d<\/em> on Sunday, October 26, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to enhance students\u2019 abilities in utilizing modern engineering software for 3D design and modeling<\/strong>, and to develop their technical competencies in alignment with the evolving needs of the modern labor market.<\/p>\n

The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Muyssar Idris Ismail<\/strong>, Head of Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, and Engineer Yasser Shukur Mahmood<\/strong> from Department of Mechanical Engineering. The event witnessed active participation and great interest from the students, who engaged enthusiastically with the practical content.<\/p>\n

This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities organized by te College of Engineering at University of Mosul to empower students with technical and engineering skills that support their academic and professional development.<\/p>\n
