As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul, Department of Architecture Engineering <\/strong> participated in\u00a0 First Architectural Forum<\/strong> organized by Department of Architecture at University of Baghdad<\/strong>, held on October 21\u201322, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The department was represented by Dr. Hassan Mahmood Qasim<\/strong> and Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Mahfoudh Taha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The forum aimed to bring together the Departments of Architecture from 27 public and private universities<\/strong> across Iraq to renew connections, exchange experiences, and discuss the current state, challenges, and aspirations of architectural education in Iraq<\/strong>, in line with global developments in the field<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event included an exhibition of outstanding graduation projects<\/strong> for the academic year 2023\u20132024<\/strong> from the participating universities. It also featured intensive and open discussion sessions<\/strong>, serving as a starting point for future, more specialized meetings.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the forum, pioneer academic architects<\/strong> in Iraq were honored, in addition to recognizing the participating departments<\/strong>, including Department of Architecture, College of Engineering, University of Mosul<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
