As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering at University of Mosul<\/strong>, and in line with its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong>, particularly Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities<\/strong>, Department of Civil Engineering<\/strong> organized a training course titled \u201cTwo-Stage Concrete as a Sustainable Production\u201d<\/strong> for the period from November 16 to November 20, 2025<\/strong>. The course was directed toward faculty members and engineers at College of Engineering.<\/p>\n

The course aimed to introduce two-stage concrete as a sustainable construction material<\/strong>, highlighting its characteristics and mechanical properties.<\/p>\n

The course delivered by Dr. Muna Mubarak Abdulla<\/strong> (lecturer and course supervisor), Asst. Prof. Dr. Salwa Mubarak Abdulla<\/strong>, and Dr. Iman Khalid Ibrahim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The program included an introductory overview of two-stage concrete as a sustainable product<\/strong>, its properties, its mechanical behavior, and recent studies related to this type of concrete. The course will conclude with an evaluation exam<\/strong> for all participants.<\/p>\n
