As part of the scientific activities of\u00a0 College of Engineering at University of Mosul and its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals\u2014particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), the Psychological Counseling Unit at College of Engineering, in cooperation with University Psychological Counseling Department at Presidency of University of Mosul and Department of Studies and Planning \/ Sustainable Development Unit at Presidency of University of Mosul, held a training course titled \u201cThe Role of Academic Advising and Psychological Support in the Success of Graduation Projects\u201d<\/em>.
The course took place from November 16 to November 20, 2025, in the discussion hall of the Computer Engineering Department. It was directed toward final-year undergraduate students.<\/p>\n

The course aimed to enable final-year students to write their graduation projects using sound scientific methodology and to master academic documentation skills through source-referencing programs.
The course was delivered by:
Asst. Prof. Rabee\u2019 Mowafaq Hajim<\/strong>, Lecturer Dr. Samar Ammar Yasser<\/strong>, Lecturer Dr. Ola Marwan Asim<\/strong>, Lecturer Dr. Sara Nawfal Abdulrazaq<\/strong>, Lecturer Dr. Maisar Idrees Ismail<\/strong>, and Lecturer Warkaa Younus Ibrahim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The program included topics such as psychological support, stress management, developing a realistic timeline for completing the project, academic advising, and structuring the project. Additionally, it covered automated referencing using EndNote<\/strong> and Mendeley<\/strong>, followed by an assessment test to evaluate the participants.<\/p>\n
