Under the directives of University of Mosul Presidency, College of Engineering organized a volunteer tree-planting campaign titled \u201cSeeds of Mercy\u201d<\/em> on Monday, November 24, 2025, in cooperation with several administrative and student units and the Sustainable Development Unit.
The campaign supports the College\u2019s efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Climate Action (Goal 13) and Life on Land (Goal 15).<\/p>\n

A number of trees and plants were planted across the College\u2019s courtyards and gardens, with the participation of the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Mohammed Hamdoon, members of the College Council, staff, and students.<\/p>\n

The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness, preserve the campus environment, and enhance the aesthetic appearance of the College. It forms part of ongoing volunteer activities that strengthen citizenship and environmental responsibility and reflect the College\u2019s active role in serving the community and supporting sustainable development.<\/p>\n
