{"id":42540,"date":"2026-07-12T15:57:26","date_gmt":"2026-07-12T15:57:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/engineering\/?p=42540"},"modified":"2026-07-14T09:00:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T09:00:17","slug":"42540","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/engineering\/2026\/07\/12\/42540\/","title":{"rendered":"Training Course on 3D Printing at College of Engineering, University of Mosul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"91\" data-end=\"591\">As part of the scientific activities of College of Engineering and its commitment to achieving the <strong data-start=\"194\" data-end=\"234\">Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>\u2014particularly <strong data-start=\"248\" data-end=\"278\">Goal 4 (Quality Education)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"283\" data-end=\"336\">Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure)<\/strong>\u2014Department of Mechatronics Engineering concluded a five-day training course entitled <strong data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"482\">&#8220;3D Printing Using Filament and Resin Technologies.&#8221;<\/strong> The course was attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and students.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"593\" data-end=\"874\">The course aimed to provide participants with practical training on the operation and use of both <strong data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"715\">filament-based (FDM)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"745\">resin-based (SLA\/LCD)<\/strong> 3D printers, while introducing the diverse industrial applications of additive manufacturing across various engineering sectors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"1283\">The training program covered several key topics, including the applications of 3D printing, the operation of filament-based printers and their associated software, the operation of resin-based printers and their software, as well as practical hands-on sessions designed to enhance participants&#8217; technical skills and strengthen their ability to apply these technologies in a wide range of engineering fields.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1485\">The course was delivered by <strong data-start=\"1313\" data-end=\"1348\">Lecturer Dr. Omar Waleed Marouf<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1350\" data-end=\"1389\">Assistant Lecturer Zaid Iyad Sedeeq<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1434\">Eng. Dalal Mosaib Mohammed<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1484\">Eng. Al-Hakam Faleh Hasan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1487\" data-end=\"1964\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The course witnessed active participation and engagement through both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, contributing to the enhancement of participants&#8217; knowledge and technical competencies in the field of 3D printing.
