About the department<\/strong><\/h3>\n

It is one of the four main scientific departments in the College of Environmental Sciences. It was established in the academic year 2023-2024. The department seeks to develop the scope of environmental health education and raises awareness in the field of human health and mutual relations with its environment, as it addresses a variety of issues related to the environment and community health that concern individuals through the department\u2019s learning outputs, in addition to the workshops, courses, and seminars held by the department.<\/p>\n

The Department of Environmental Health offers a group of disciplines concerned with the environment and health for the purpose of improving the health and well-being of the population by raising the quality of living in order to develop complex processes that keep pace with the challenges facing the world at the present time and which enable students to develop proficiency in a wide range of environmental health skills. Also, it includes management of public health dealing with infectious diseases, epidemics, community health, primary health care, toxins, food safety, and hazardous factors, including chemical, biological, and radiological contaminants.<\/p>\n
