Professor Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Khalil, Head of the Department of Environmental Science at the College of Environmental Science and Technologies, obtained a new patent from the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control, entitled \u201cPreparation of a safe and efficient dye for the detection of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) during the electrophoresis process in an agarose gel.\u201d<\/p>\n

This dye is an alternative to the dyes used that are toxic and contaminate laboratory tools. The new dye is distinguished by its high efficiency compared to other dyes, its non-toxic, and it is 100% safe. This is the third patent for Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil.<\/p>\n
