Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed al-Shaker, Dean of the College of Environmental Science and Technologies, the work of the training course entitled \u201cThe most important techniques used in cultivation and development of microorganisms in various agricultural media\u201d was launched this morning, Sunday, October 15, 2023, which It will last for five days, from October 15-19, 2023.<\/p>\n

On its first day, Dr. Rawaa Mahmoud Hamoushi, gave a lecture entitled (Introduction to Microbiology and Its Importance), in which she explained the topic of microbiology in general and the classification of bacterial forms, while the assistant lecturer, Basma Bashar Hasib, gave a lecture entitled (Types of Agricultural Media), in which she addressed the explanation of the media. Agricultural crops, their types and the purpose of their use, while Mrs. Sana Rabie Al-Qazzaz gave a lecture entitled (Isolation and purification of bacteria) in which she presented an introduction to the concept of sterilization and disinfection and its importance in the biology laboratory, as well as methods of sterilization and how to develop microorganisms and purify farms with the aim of obtaining a pure farm.<\/p>\n
