Within the directives of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies, Dr. Yousra Majeed Al-Shaker, and in the presence and supervision of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Walid Saeed, and the Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil, the Department of Environmental Sciences held a seminar entitled (Geoenvironmental Risks of Rock Quarrying in the Governorate Nineveh) presented by master\u2019s student Batoul Abdel Hafez Attia today, Wednesday, December 20, 2023.<\/p>\n
The lecture included highlighting the reality of random rock quarrying operations within Nineveh Governorate and the accompanying negative effects harmful to the environment.<\/p>\n
