the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies, Dr. Yousra Majeed Al-Shaker, and in the presence and supervision of the Head of the Environmental Sciences Department, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil, the Environmental Sciences Department held a seminar entitled (The inhibitory effectiveness of Broccoli extract and Licorice root on some bacterial species isolated from&#8230; Various clinical and environmental samples) presented by master\u2019s student Ahmed Kamal Ahmed on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in the college\u2019s discussion hall.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture included an explanation of the mechanism for isolating and diagnosing stomach bacteria from people suffering from various intestinal and infectious diseases from tissue biopsies using routine culture methods, rapid detection of the urease enzyme, and detection of H.pylori antigen from the discharge of peptic ulcer patients.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload aligncenter wp-image-38191
