Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, the College of Environmental Sciences \/ Department of Environmental Health, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a workshop entitled (Monkeypox and Human Health), today, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in the college discussion hall.<\/p>\n

It was delivered by Dr. Rawaa Mahmoud Hamoushi, Assistant Professor Ashraf Siddiq Elias, and Assistant Lecturer Basma Bashar Hassib, lecturers at the College of Environmental Sciences.<\/p>\n

The lecture included a historical introduction to monkeypox and the pathological signs to identify it and the people most susceptible to it, as well as treatments, vaccines, and methods of prevention.<\/p>\n

The lecture aimed to define monkeypox, its spread methods, and the people most susceptible to it.<\/p>\n
