Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Environmental Sciences, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khalil, the Department of Environmental Sciences held a seminar entitled (Investigation of pollution by some microorganisms in water tanks using environmental genome indicators) presented by Assistant Lecturer Muthanna Muhammad Waad, a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Sciences at our college, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.<\/p>\n

The lecture included an explanation of how to use modern methods to detect water pollution in microorganisms by using metaganomic PCR.<\/p>\n

The lecture aimed to explain how to diagnose organisms in water tanks and their effects on them using modern methods instead of using traditional methods of examination, which are usually inaccurate in diagnosis.<\/p>\n
