Within the directives of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, to support the educational process and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Environmental Technology, Dr. Ayad Fadil Al-Nama, students of the fourth stage in the Department of Environmental Technology, accompanied by an elite group of lecturers from the department, conducted a scientific trip to Yarmouk Park and Yarmouk Treatment Plant to support the academic aspect with the practical application aspect within the subject of wastewater and slag treatment for the fourth stage, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.<\/p>\n

The first visit included learning about the alternative solar energy production system and how to produce it, and educating to spread awareness and encourage its use to achieve the seventh goal of the sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n

While the second visit included learning about the mechanism of water treatment before discharging it into the river and the function of each treatment unit and how to benefit from treated water for irrigation purposes to achieve the sixth goal of the sustainable development goals.<\/p>\n
