Following the directives of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, to support the educational process, and under the supervision of the Head of the Environmental Technology Department, Dr. Ayad Fadhil Al-Nama, and as a continuation of the series of field activities for the department’s students, fourth-year students in the Environmental Technology Department conducted a scientific visit to the Al-Shifa Complex Wastewater Treatment Plant as part of their Wastewater Treatment course. They were accompanied by a group of department instructors, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.<\/p>\n

The visit included an overview of the plant’s operation stages and how the resulting slag is treated before being released into the river, according to approved Iraqi specifications and requirements.<\/p>\n

The visit aimed to enhance the theoretical aspect with practical application.<\/p>\n
