Following the directives of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and under the supervision of the Head of Environmental Technology Department, Dr. Iyad Fadil Al-Nama, and based on the university’s principle of serving the community, spreading environmental awareness, and fostering a love of environmental sustainability, a group of Environmental Technology Department instructors visited the Modern Education Intermediate School for Boys on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.<\/p>\n

The instructors delivered awareness lectures on the forms of air pollution, soil pollution, noise pollution, light pollution, and plastic pollution, as well as the effects of pollution on the environment and health, and sustainable solutions for addressing them.<\/p>\n

The visit aimed to raise students’ environmental awareness about environmental pollution (air, soil, and water) and how to find solutions.<\/p>\n
