Under the patronage of Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Walid Al-Abbasi, the College of Environmental Sciences\/Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the College of Law, held a workshop entitled “Domestic Violence” this morning, Monday, April 7, 2025, in the college’s discussion hall.<\/p>\n

It was presented by:
\n– Lecturer Dr. Lamia Hashim Salem \/ College of Law.
\n– Dr. Zahraa Hisham Ibrahim \/ College of Law.
\n– Lecturer Ruwa Muzaffar Younis \/ College of Environmental Sciences.<\/p>\n

The lecture included a definition of domestic violence, its dangers, and its effects on the individual, family, and society.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to clarify the concept of domestic violence in the modern era, its causes, and to examine its physical, psychological, and social effects and harms.<\/p>\n
