Under the patronage of Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Majeed Al-Shaker, and as part of the College of Environmental Sciences’ efforts to enhance the scientific and technical aspects of university staff through scientific activities, the College of Environmental Sciences\/Department of Environmental Technology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a workshop entitled “Occupational Safety in Scientific Laboratories” on Monday, April 14, 2025, in the college’s discussion hall.<\/p>\n

It was delivered by:<\/p>\n

– Assistant Professor Dr. Iman Abdul-Moneim Al-Jawady\/College of Environmental Sciences\/Department of Environmental Technology.<\/p>\n

– Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Abdul-Sattar Al-Dabbagh\/College of Environmental Sciences\/Department of Environmental Technology.<\/p>\n

The workshop included several topics, including awareness-raising to ensure the protection of users and the environment from potential hazards in scientific laboratories.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to raise awareness of safety practices and implement preventive measures to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all laboratory workers.<\/p>\n
