Under the direct guidance of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Muthanna Jassim Muhammad Al-Taie, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Environmental Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayad Fadhil Al-Nama, and as part of the Department of Environmental Technology’s ongoing activities to support the scientific and practical aspects of students’ learning, first-year students from the Department of Environmental Technology, accompanied by a select group of faculty members, conducted a scientific visit to the Mishraq Sulfur General Company on Monday, April 28, 2025.<\/p>\n

The visit included an overview of sulfur extraction methods and the detailed steps for alum production, from raw material to packaging. They also visited the sulfur well field area.<\/p>\n

This visit came within the framework of the joint cooperation between the university and the company, with the aim of enhancing scientific skills and benefiting from the company’s existing expertise.<\/p>\n
