Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences, Professor Dr. Muthanna Jassim Al-Taie, the College of Environmental Sciences\/Department of Environmental Technology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a workshop entitled “Instilling Environmental Values \u200b\u200band Cognitive Skills in Handling Medical Waste” this morning, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in the college’s discussion hall.<\/p>\n

Delivered by Asst. Prof. Mohammed Fakhruddin Ahmed<\/p>\n

The workshop included… an introduction to medical waste, its types, how to dispose of it safely, and the human and environmental damage it causes.<\/p>\n

The workshop also aimed to understand all the cognitive skills needed to safely handle this medical waste, whether solid, liquid, or gaseous, including storage, collection, transportation, and burial.<\/p>\n
