In order to shed light on organic agriculture, the Environmental Research Center held on Monday, October 15, 2023, a seminar entitled \u201cOrganic Agriculture for a Sustainable Environment,\u201d delivered by Mrs. Nahla Salem Hamouk (lecturer at our center), in the lecture hall of the Environmental Research Center.
\nThe seminar discussed the dangers of the widespread use of chemical compounds in agricultural production, both animal and plant, and the harm caused to humans as a result of their reaching increasing levels in the human body and leaving toxic effects on living organisms, such as nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate compounds as a result of the accumulation of these compounds in plants and the agricultural environment in which they grow.<\/p>\n
