Desertification represents a serious challenge facing sustainable development in every country due to the negative impact on human health, agriculture ,food security, economic activity, infrastructure and natural resources.
\nIn order to shed light on desertification, the Environmental Research Center conducted a seminar entitled \u201c
\nDesertification fighting in Iraq,\u201d prepared by Assistant Lecturer Amna Fares Farhan ( staff member at our center) on Sunday, November 19, 2023, in the center\u2019s lecture hall, attended by a number of employees and faculty members of the Environmental Research Center.<\/p>\n
