Lead (Pb) poisoning occurs when it accumulates in the body, often over the course of months or years. Even tiny levels of lead can cause serious health problems. Children under the age of 6 are particularly vulnerable to it, which can severely affect development, mental and physical damage to the child, while poisoning at high levels may lead to death. In order to shed light on lead toxicity, the Environmental Research Center held a seminar on Monday, December 11, 2023, in which the assistant lecturer, Safwa Walid Ahmed, gave a lecture entitled \u201cLead Poisoning\u201d in the Environmental Research Center\u2019s lecture hall, attended by the center\u2019s staff members.<\/p>\n
