In order to focus on the huge spread of plastic products in various environments and its repercussions on biodiversity, food security and public health, specifically microplastic particles in water, which pose a major threat to the environment and humans, which requires the adoption of effective measures and integrated strategies for waste management, the Environmental Research Center held a seminar entitled \u201cPlastic and microplastic waste and its impact on the environment and water\u201d was delivered by Dr. Zakaria Nafi Mahmoud Shehab (a lecturer at our center) on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in the center\u2019s lecture hall, attended by a number of the center\u2019s staff members .<\/p>\n
