As part of scientific cooperation and exchange of expertise between colleges and research centers, the Environmental Research Center at the University of Mosul welcomed a group of students from the Department of Environmental Technology at the College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.<\/p>\n

Assistant Professor Taha Ahmed Al-Tayyar, Assistant Lecturer Reem Nawzat, and Assistant Lecturer Amna Faris gave introductory lectures on the importance of scientific research and environmental studies, the role of laboratories in supporting the applied aspects of academic education, and the importance of environmental awareness in serving society and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

The field visit included several specialized laboratories, including the Environmental Microbiology Laboratory, where an explanation was given of the available equipment and the mechanisms for its use in conducting environmental analyses and scientific research.<\/p>\n

The visit aimed to familiarize the students with the reality of research work at the center and to view its laboratory and technical capabilities.<\/p>\n
