Continuing Education Training Course on Financial Integrity<\/p>\n
As part of the Continuing Education Program at the Environmental Research Center, University of Mosul, a training course entitled:<\/p>\n
\u201cFinancial Integrity: The Foundation of Institutional Trust and a Pillar for Achieving Sustainable Development\u201d<\/p>\n
was launched on Monday, June 8, 2026.<\/p>\n
The first day of the course featured two specialized lectures:<\/p>\n
* Dr. Aws Saad Al-Taie delivered a lecture entitled:
\n\u201cFinancial and Administrative Corruption: Concepts, Causes, and Prevention Mechanisms.\u201d
\n* Dr. Hala Abdulhadi Al-Sayegh delivered a lecture entitled:
\n\u201cFinancial Integrity and Transparency in Institutional Work.\u201d<\/p>\n
The lectures highlighted the importance of promoting integrity and transparency within institutions, discussed the concepts and causes of financial and administrative corruption, and reviewed effective mechanisms for prevention and control. The sessions also emphasized the role of good governance in strengthening institutional trust and improving organizational performance in support of sustainable development.<\/p>\n

* SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions \u2013 by promoting transparency, accountability, integrity, and anti-corruption measures.
