Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, the Continuing Education Unit in our college held a scientific symposium entitled (Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, a symbol of humanity) on Sunday, August 12, 2024, in which Ms. Asmaa Khaled Al-Samarrai, a lecturer at the University of Maysan \/ College of Education \/ Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences \/ Specialization in Art Education Teaching Methods, lectured. Via the Zoom application and in the presence of most of our college members, the teaching workshop was managed by Fardous Bahnam Yeshua. The lecture touched on the humanitarian message that the grandson of the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and companions, carried to the whole world in sacrifice and altruism, confronting the forces of tyranny and oppression, and daring to speak the truth.
