The Department of Theater Arts at the College of Fine Arts hosted Prof. Dr. Ali Mohammed Hadi Al-Rubaie, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Hilla, to deliver an educational lecture on “Iraqi Theater (1958\u20132003).” The event took place today, Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Jalal Jameel Hall, in the presence of faculty members and students.<\/b><\/p>\n

During the lecture, Prof. Dr. Al-Rubaie reviewed significant milestones in the history of Iraqi theater spanning fifty years, highlighting the most influential figures and prominent theater troupes. The session, moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Zaid Tariq, included discussions and inquiries aimed at elevating the academic and creative levels of both students and researchers.<\/b><\/p>\n
