Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Division

On the morning of Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the University of Mosul inaugurated the new headquarters of the Technology Incubator, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, a number of deans, and faculty members.

This inauguration comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support innovation and entrepreneurship, and to provide an integrated environment for incubating the ideas and projects of students and graduates, thereby contributing to supplying the local and regional labor market with qualified talents and innovative initiatives.

The President of the University emphasized that the incubator represents a cornerstone in the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to promote the knowledge economy and support the transition towards technology and innovation across various sectors.

The opening ceremony included a presentation of the incubator’s key activities over the past period, which featured training programs and specialized workshops in entrepreneurship, innovation, and project management, in addition to showcasing models of technical devices and projects developed by university students, reflecting the creativity and excellence of the young academic community.
