The Technology Incubator Division at the University of Mosul Contributes to Developing the Skills of State Institution Employees

As part of the University of Mosul’s efforts to enhance community partnership and activate the role of the ecosystem in supporting innovation and development and under the directive of the respected Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, the Technology Incubator Division contributed to the development of governmental staff skills by participating in a specialized training course organized by the Skills Development Department at the Nineveh Governorate Office.
The course was entitled:
“Plotting Project Coordinates on Maps Using ArcGIS”,
A part of the lectures was delivered by the Head of the Technology Incubator Division. She focused on the practical aspects of using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to accurately project locations, thereby enhancing planning and implementation efficiency for the relevant authorities.
This activity is part of the University of Mosul’s broader direction to leverage university resources in service of state institutions through the transfer of technical knowledge and capacity building, in alignment with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially:

- Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
- Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
- Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
