About
The Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Division
is one of the scientific and administrative divisions affiliated with the University of Mosul. It is dedicated to supporting innovation and creativity, and to promoting the concepts of entrepreneurship and the knowledge economy within the university.
The Division works to incubate entrepreneurial ideas from students and researchers, transforming them into viable, scalable, and sustainable projects.
It also strives to create an entrepreneurship-friendly environment through training programs and strategic partnerships with both public and private sectors.
The Division adopts national initiatives, most notably the organization and supervision of training courses for the “Riyada” (Entrepreneurship) initiative launched by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani to support and empower youth.
It provides platforms for technical, administrative, and marketing guidance, in addition to facilitating access to funding and incubation opportunities.
The Division actively contributes to raising community awareness of the importance of startups in economic development.
It also organizes exhibitions, workshops, and entrepreneurship competitions within the university.
In its vision, the Division aims to make the University of Mosul a leading hub for creativity and innovation in the region.
Through its activities, the Division serves as a meeting point between education and the economy, between ideas and practice.
It is committed to providing a sustainable environment that inspires students to think creatively and pursue entrepreneurial endeavors.
