In an effort by the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to make the Central Library the focus of local and international attention, and with constant follow-up from Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, Mr. Yahya Qahtan Mahmood, Reasercher in the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology in the Ministry of Planning, dedicated a copy of his personal work entitled (Strategic Planning – An Introduction to Achieve Competitive Advantage) to the Central Library.
