As part of the efforts of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to enhance the scientific and cultural cooperation between the University of Mosul and other Iraqi universities, and with follow-up from Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, the Gift and Exchange Unit in the Central Library received 78 books in various scientific and cultural specialties in Arabic, English and Kurdish as a gift by Ms. Saba Yusif Yacob, Academian, Department of Plastic Arts, College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad. The donated books are a contribution from the Iraqi University academians to support the University of Mosul and its libraries.
