As a contribution from the faculty members at the University of Mosul who are still in service or referred to retirement, to provide the University libraries with their academic books, and with a follow-up from the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, Dr. Adnan Sami, the former Secretary General of the University Libraries, gave the Central Library two copies of his book (Abduljabbar Aljumard – His Cultural Activity and Political Role), which is his 1989 Master’s thesis dealing with the biography and role of one of the most Mosul notable political and cultural figures in the Iraqi contemporary history.
