In an effort to convey the University of Mosul’s message to the world, the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, received a number of Dijlah TV reporters who were on a mission to document the long-established Central Library, which has suffered unprecedented destruction caused by ISIS, the enemy of science, culture and humanity. During the visit, Mr. Sayf briefed them on the efforts made by the local and international supporters to revive the Central Library, mentioning the rejoice and enthusiasm shown by the University students, academics and employees and local personalities in the completion of the reconstruction and the reopening of the Central Library which returned to perform its cognitive role, to serve its users and to keep pace with the modern global academic libraries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
