Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, received three visitors from the UNESCO Office in Iraq: Mr. Paolo Fontani, Director, Mr. Santosh Katri, Head of Education, and Ms. Ghada Gorgi, Head of Projects, who organized a photographic exhibit hosted by the Central Library to highlight programs developed by UNESCO to maintain Nineveh’s heritage, culture and education and to show students and researchers the importance of these programs to society and the world.
