In line with the persistent endeavors of the visionary Presidency of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, to foster and promote knowledge workshops and to contribute to building a knowledge society, the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar delivered a workshop tagged “The Importance of Information Security Culture in Avoiding Electronic Blackmail” organized by the Division of Continuing Education at the Central Library, and attended by a number of library staff members. During the workshop, the importance of raising awareness of information security culture and spreading it among all segments of society was underlined, and the International Day of Education was highly commended on the sidelines of the workshop. The General Secretariat of the University Libraries will give those who attended the workshop certificates of participation.<\/p>\n
