In line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, aimed at developing the scientific level and the administrative and technical performance of all University staff to overcome the obstacles imposed by the Corona pandemic locally and internationally, the Secretary-General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar chaired a weekly virtual meeting with the officials of the Central Library’s divisions and units on Saturday 10\/10\/2020. During the meeting, it was discussed that the mechanisms of developing the Library’s scientific and cultural performance, such as holding more specialized and awareness workshops and seminars in participation with the University’s faculty members and encouraging its personnel to participate in local and international virtual courses and workshops to raise their technical and cultural levels to keep pace with digital developments to provide the best services to the Library users. The meeting also stressed for keeping communicating with reputable magazines and libraries inside and outside Iraq.
