\u200e As part of the Alahmady-presided University of Mosul endeavors to maintain coordination and cooperation with local and international supporters, the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, in the presence of the Director of the Central Library Restoration Project Mr. Humam Talal, received the Director of Education Projects Ms. Viola Kohesa, UNESCO Iraq Office. Speaking about the Central Library restoration project, which is supported by the Development Program of the Italian Agency for Development and Cooperation in line with the shared visions of UNESCO, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Steering Committee and the Italian Embassy, \u200b\u200bMr. Sayf and Mr. Humam reviewed the stages of implementing the project aimed at introducing modern technology to the Central Library. Mr. Sayf also touched on the services provided by the library under the supervision of Rector Alahmady and the distinguished efforts of the Central Library staff members. During the visit, Ms. Viola Kohesa expressed her admiration for the continuity of the services provided to users and the endeavor to keep pace with global libraries, stressing the importance of the UNESCO continued support for projects that contribute to serving the community.<\/p>\n
