After congratulating the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Wahid Alibrahimi, on assuming his new position, a UNESCO Iraq Office delegation visited the Central Library at the University of Mosul to review the progress of the library development project, which is being implemented by UNESCO with the support of the Italian Agency for International Development.<\/p>\n

The delegation included Mr. Tabraj Pant, Education Program Specialist, UNESCO Iraq Office, who made a field tour accompanied by the Director General of the University of Mosul Libraries Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jasim.<\/p>\n

The delegation praised the progress made in the project, expressing their admiration for the efforts of the University of Mosul and the work team in developing the Central Library to become a scientific beacon serving the academic community. They affirmed their continued support for education and development projects at the University of Mosul.<\/p>\n
