<\/p>\nThe Board of Directors of the Dar Al-Kutub Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul held its regular meeting headed by Assistant Professor
\nDr.Muhammad Jassim Muhammad, and in the presence of Council members today, Sunday, 6\/22\/2025, at the Central Library, to discuss a number of core topics
\nWhich aims to develop the unit\u2019s work and enhance its vital role in supporting the academic and cultural movement inside the university.
\nThe meeting began by discussing the ongoing preparations for organizing the annual book fair
\nscheduled to be established on the University of Mosul campus at the beginning of the next academic year. The attendees stressed the importance of early coordination with international, Arab and local publishing houses to ensure
\nWide participation, asserting the necessity of diversifying the titles and topics presented, to meet the needs of students and researchers in various specializations.
\nThe importance of providing appropriate infrastructure for establishment was also stressed
\nThe exhibition, in terms of location, logistics and media promotion, contributes to highlighting the university\u2019s scientific and cultural position at the local and regional levels. The possibility of adopting electronic payment devices was discusse
\nAt home in light of the university\u2019s striving towards the digital transformation.
\nIn another axis of the meeting, the Council discussed mechanisms for activating the role of the Dar Al Kutub Unit, by modernizing its administrative and technical systems and expanding its network contracts with trusted publishing houses to
\nprovide the latest editions of books and scientific references, in addition to providing stationery and basic supplies needed by the university\u2019s colleges and research centers.<\/p>\n
