Under the auspices of the Honorable Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision and attendance of the Director of the Libraries of the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, and in implementation of the Third National Plan for Woman and Peace ,Woman’s Affairs Committee and the Continuing Education Division in the Central Library, and in cooperation with the Woman’s Affairs Unit , Sustainable Development Unit , Studies and Planning Department, Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Library hosted the workshop entitled: (Suicide, its causes, the methods of its treatment and prevention).the workshop delivered by the Lecturer Rana Rasheed Mohammed Saleem , College of Basic Education , Kindergarten Department, it was also conducted and presented by Mrs. Rawaa Asim Nori.
\nThe workshop covered the (suicide), its motives and causes, the psychological and educational aspects that have a negative impact on it, and how to combat this phenomenon that has spread widely among society, especially among the youth.
