Under the auspices of the Honorable President of the Mosul University , Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Director of the Mosul University Libraries, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, the Continuing Education Division at the Central Library, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Unit ,Department of Studies and Planning at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, organized the workshop entitled:<\/p>\n
(The role of human rights in combating violent extremism leading to terrorism)<\/p>\n
It was delivered by Dr. Saeed Khudaida, Head of the Human Rights Division at the University Presidency.<\/p>\n

This workshop is part of scientific and awareness-raising activities which aimed<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
at promoting awareness of human rights, spreading the culture of moderation and tolerance, and supporting efforts to confront violent extremism leading to terrorism.<\/p>\n
