Under the auspices of the Honorable President of the Mosul University Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Director of the Mosul University Libraries, the Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed, the Central Library at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, the Studies and Planning Department, and the Sustainable Development Unit ,organized\u00a0 an awareness workshop entitled \u00abActivating two-factor authentication for official university mail\u00bb, it was delivered by Ms. Heba Khair El-Din..<\/p>\n
The workshop highlighted the importance of activating two-factor authentication for the official email of the staff, and to explain its role in enhancing the security of university accounts and protecting them from unauthorized access attempts, which contributes to maintaining the confidentiality of information and ensuring the safe use of electronic services.<\/p>\n
This workshop comes as part of the university’s efforts aimed at supporting digital transformation, consolidating safe electronic practices in the university work environment, and enhancing awareness of the importance of protecting data and official accounts, in line with the technical developments and digital security requirements.<\/p>\n
