According to the direction of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to encourage and support the University staff to do their best in serving the University students, and consequently, serve the community, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, honored the members of the Central Library, the Branch Library near the College of Ecology, and Ibn Khaldun Library in the University second campus, who set an example of perseverance despite all the challenges, with books of appreciation in recognition of their exceptional efforts during 2019. During the ceremony, Mr. Secretary-General appreciated their sincere efforts to work as a team throughout 2019 to realize the dream of getting their library have cognitive and cultural effects to keep pace with the international libraries. He also wished happy New Year for the University, Mosul, Iraq and the world and a year of achievement and development with cooperation and support of all the categories of the University Libraries members: the Secretary-General, administrative, technical and service. At the end of the meeting, the members of the Central Library and its branches expressed their thanks and gratitude for the Secretary-General’s pioneering initiative, promising to meet his high expectations, and wishing that 2020 will be a year full of progress and achievement to provide the best services to the users of our long-established University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
