Professor Dr. Basil Saeed chaired the eleventh meeting of the College of Medicine Council for the academic year 2023-2024 on Sunday, February 25, 2024. The meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Humam Ghanem Zubeer, Vice-Dean for Scientific Affairs (Secretary of the Council), Vice-Dean for Administrative Affairs, Karam Turath Tawfeeq Agha, and the rest of the council members (heads of scientific departments). During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:<\/p>\n

1- Scientific promotions<\/p>\n

-The University of Mosul \/ Division of Academic Promotions Affairs letter, including generalizations.<\/p>\n

2- Postgraduate studies issues<\/p>\n

Granting a master’s degree<\/p>\n

3-Student affairs issues<\/p>\n

-postponing an academic year\/2<\/p>\n

-Al-Nahrain University\/College of Medicine letter containing the comprehensive evaluation exams.<\/p>\n

4-Miscellaneous<\/p>\n

-Distribution of the top twenty for the academic year 2022-2023<\/p>\n

-Nomination of the Head of the Department of Medicine<\/p>\n

-Evaluation of the Department of Biochemistry and Anatomy lecturers.<\/p>\n

5- Department councils<\/p>\n

-Biochemistry<\/p>\n

-Gynecology and Obstetrics<\/p>\n

-Pediatrics<\/p>\n

-Pathology<\/p>\n

-Medicine<\/p>\n

-Family and community medicine<\/p>\n
