Anatomy Department Seminar
\nUnder the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Kusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Basil SAEED, with the presence of the scientific and administrative dean assistants, the Anatomy Department of the College of Medicine organized its scientific Symposium titled:
\n“Topics in Anatomy”
\nGoals of the Symposium:
\n1. Raising awareness among community groups, especially women of childbearing age, about the importance of Vitamin D in protecting breast tissues from pathological conditions.
\n2. Highlighting the role of exam question analysis in ensuring the quality of theoretical exams and the necessity of establishing a standardized question bank for each subject, determining the difficulty and discrimination level of each question.
\n3. Establishing a tissue culture laboratory exclusively for the University of Mosul and the College of Medicine.
\n4. Supplying the Anatomy Department with graduates from the College of Medicine to support its teaching role due to the current shortage of teaching staff.
\n5. Adopting genetic analysis of specific genes (PID6, PDCD5, CHRAC1) to detect pathological conditions such as diabetes and cancer.
\nThe event was held at the Scientific and Literary Forum on Sunday, November 17, 2024.<\/p>\n
