The College of Medicine – University of Mosul is honored at the closing ceremony of the First Nineveh Health Forum<\/p>\n

The First Nineveh Health Forum came to a close on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the University of Mosul theater, after three consecutive days of active and prominent participation from professors, doctors, and students of the College of Medicine – University of Mosul. They provided their services in examination, diagnosis, and treatment to hundreds of community members, reflecting the college’s mission in serving the community and embodying its commitment to the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being.<\/p>\n

During the closing ceremony, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, and the Vice Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Karam Turath Tawfiq Agha, were honored for their efforts in supporting and successfully conducting the forum’s activities and promoting the college’s role in medical and community initiatives.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by prominent academic figures, including Professor Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat, Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Higher Education, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Badee Ali, President of Al-Hadba University, and Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, President of Nineveh University, along with a number of deans, faculty members, and students.<\/p>\n

The ceremony included speeches by the presidents of the participating universities, theatrical and artistic performances carrying humanitarian and awareness messages, and concluded with the distribution of shields of appreciation to the supporting universities and institutions, expressing gratitude for their efforts in making this event a success and consolidating the values of solidarity and cohesion among the people of Nineveh.<\/p>\n
